Atalanta midfielder wanted by Arsenal & Man Utd

Arsenal and Manchester United are both chasing the signature of Atalanta midfielder Ederson this summer, according to Calciomercato.



The Brazilian has been with the Bergamo outfit for the past few years and he has now established himself as a key player in their midfield.

The 24-year-old has seven goal contributions this term, but he has also been solid defensively with key tackles, duels and ball recoveries.

His work rate is another major strength and it is claimed that the Premier League duo have already made enquiries for his services.


Ederson has given the green light to a potential transfer, but he may have to wait until the summer with Atalanta keen to keep hold of him.

The Serie A outfit are vying for Champions League football, and have no desire to listen to any proposals until the next transfer window.

Atalanta signed him for just €15m in 2022, but it is claimed that there is a high release clause in the region of €50m in his current deal.
